My role
I was part of the background designer team, and I designed the different areas of the game, having in my the feeling we wanted to achieve and the game designer constrains. I assembled backgrounds in our game editor and optimized the images. Apart from that, I animated the Rat Bat character based on a design of a teammate and integrated those animations in game. I took part in the creation of the presentations and material needed for showing our work.

My experience
This was my first time creating a game, as well as working with the programming team. I had a really good time working on this game, we talked weekly all of us in order to take decisions and we discussed all of our issues. The main problem we had with the development was implementing the 3D feeling in a 2D game, which lead to working extra for something we could have easily had avoided but we din't knew at that moment. All in all, we achieved a nice result even if we weren't able to complete the game as far as we planned and wanted. Keep in mind that at the same time we were developing this game, we were also working on the short film.
