Since September, I have attended a Stop Motion workshop, which has been really interesting and creative. I had barely done animation in stop motion, and thanks to this course that has changed. Thought different exercises, we have been able to experiment with plasticine, paper and other basic materials. It is a good way to start, since next semester we will be working with our newly created puppets.
As semester project, we have done a Christmas gag, called "No te comas el copo" which is a pun in Spanish. No te comas el copo means "don't eat the snowflake".
The result it's nice, since we had one month, working on it 2 hours per week (6 hours in total), one camera and 9 people.
This is the second year in a row that I wish happy holidays with an stop motion, last year I took part in a project called The World in (Stop)Motion. Let's hope for another stop motion sketch next year too!
