After finishing the degree, my college and friend Irene started creating a project called Home. Home will be a bar-restaurant set in the Harry Potter book series. It's purpose is to offer fans of the saga a way to immerse themselves in this magical world and to create a comfortable place for the not-so-fans to spend the day. But the most interesting part of this project is that Home aims to help the social and labor reinsertion of homeless people in to society.

The project started with no funding, so Irene gathered a bunch of people who believed in the project and we began working voluntarily to make this true. A part from the Kisckstarter, the main income resources are small donations that people make. In order to thank those donations, we handcraft different items people can take with them.

Last 24 and 25 of November, a few members attended the Witch Market in Barcelona.

My contribution for the stand were postcards. I created House Postcards, Lettering Postcards and Wand Postcards. Due to me living away from Barcelona, I only had the change to mail the team a few of them, planing to mail the postcards to the people who made donations and didn't mind sharing their home address with us. Sadly, this didn't work at all, people wasn't confortable sharing that information, which is comprensible. So finally they were able to only give away the ones they had physically at Barcelona. But worry not, I have been able to give all the postcards to Irene a couple of days ago, so soon our benefactors will be able to have them.

For making the House Postcards, I needed to make many postcard in a short time with limited resources, so first I had to plan how to make the process as efficient as possible.

I created the background with watercolors, since they create very interesting shapes.

With onion paper, I was able to write every time the same letters in exactly the same place in each postcard.

After some touch ups and details, postcards were ready to go.

Final result of them all.
